We discuss a mechanism of generating two separable beams of light entangled in momentum using a sharp optical temporal boundary to excite Zero Point Fluctuations from the vacuum state of the electromagnetic field. This phenomenon is known as Time Refraction. Similarities between this effect and the Unruh effect are discussed.
