Nowadays, digital services tend to allow users to access in a remote way and from different devices. Fields such as domotic or telecaring applications are evolving to this model, for example, it is already possible to take over our home from a computer in our office or from a mobile phone. These technological developments benefit to many users, (i.e. old and disabled people), so they are able to overcome the barriers caused by their functional diversity. For many years governments and organizations have been fostering the access of disabled people and old people to information society services. There are a vast number of examples in the market, for example screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognizer, etc.). Moreover, there are guidelines that establish the basis for designing of different technological applications. In the Internet field, W3C has developed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 1.0) that are the basic reference in the production of national and international standards and laws.
