There are many articles about different strategies and techniques of electronic learning but there are not many findings about student teachers' readiness in this direction. A questionnaire was developed by adapting Hiltz's framework to find out student teachers' perceptions on different areas which contribute to the success of electronic learning. There were a total of 64 responses and the respondents gave high ratings on most items asked. Their perceptions and preferences on E-learning clearly indicated their readiness to go for electronic learning partially or completely. The findings are useful not only to our institute but also inform others who are in the area of teacher education.
